Fans 'concerned' after seeing teen singer Grace VanderWaal's new look: 'Changed herself completely'

Grace VanderWaal, best known for winning America’s Got Talent in 2016, has finally joined TikTok.

The singer-songwriter, who is just 16 years old but already has quite the career under her belt, skyrocketed to fame at 12 after performing original songs on the ukulele and bearing a striking resemblance to Taylor Swift.

Those days are gone now, though — she’s got an entirely new look.

Instead of rocking a sharp bob, VanderWaal’s hair is now shaved.

She debuted the look on her brand new TikTok account.

“When I meet someone and the first thing they do is tell me about their ’embarrassing’ childhood fascination with me,” she wrote in the video before the audio says “I didn’t ask.”

A video in which she lip-syncs “Here” by Alessia Cara already has more than 2 million likes.

Some fans were a bit shocked by the new look.

“I feel like I should be concerned,” one user wrote.

“She really cut her hair and changed herself completely,” another said, referencing her own song lyrics.

“Sis is in 2016 Miley Cyrus phase,” a third commented.

Others were excited to see the change.

“Seeing you growing [and] changing inside and out is so beautiful,” one wrote.

“This is a look oh my god,” another said.
