The Chiefs-Eagles Super Bowl matchup reignited the conspiracy theory about the game's logo
For years, the NFL had used unique, original logos for each Super Bowl that often had something to do with the game's host city. That only changed when the league went full corporate for Super Bowl XLV and introduced templated logos for 11 years.
The league finally saw how boring the look was and added some color for Super Bowl LVI's logo. Yet, with that, the league fueled one of the sillier conspiracy theories.
For the first two years of the new generation of Super Bowl logos, the colors on the logo have lined up with the game's eventual matchup -- Bengals vs. Rams and then Chiefs vs. Eagles. That streak only ended last season when the Ravens lost to the Chiefs in AFC title game, but we came awfully close to three in a row.

Well, the conspiracy may have just taken a one-year break because Super Bowl 59's logo brought fans right back to it.
THE SUPER BOWL CONSPIRACY WAS RIGHT.

The logo -- which looked to tie into the host city of New Orleans -- happened to feature red and green. You know, just the primary colors of the Chiefs and Eagles.
Now, it's hard to really put much stock into a trend that already ended last season, but that didn't stop fans from pointing out that the colors lined up once again.
