Chelsea set to sign St Etienne midfielder Amougou

Chelsea are set to sign St Etienne midfielder Mathis Amougou for fee of around £12m.

The 19-year-old is considered an exciting talent for the future but he will also boost manager Enzo Maresca's midfield options, with Carney Chukwuemeka heading to Borussia Dortmund on loan and Cesare Casadei joining Torino on a permanent £12.5m deal.

The Blues also have French top-flight club Strasbourg as a potential landing spot for Amougou to develop in future seasons.
