The injury likely won’t affect Parson’s playing time, as he had been a healthy scratch since Dec. 27. He has played only 54 minutes this season for the Hawks, scoring 14 points in five games.
The Hawks acquired Parsons in a trade last offseason that was more about the Memphis Grizzlies offloading his $25.1 million cap hit this season, the final year of a four-year max contract in the summer of 2016.
