Blonde streaker steals the show in 'worst final ever'

A scantily-clad blonde pitch invader has proven the highlight for many football fans in a Champions League final dubbed the 'worst of all time'.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp finally got his hands on another trophy after being on the wrong end of a lopsided record in finals.

Klopp's Reds beat Tottenham 2-0 in an ordinary final but the German could finally shrug off those who doubted he could deliver. Even though he'd previously said he was not worried about his poor record in finals.

While Liverpool will savour the sixth European title in the club's proud history, for many fans the blonde beauty who disrupted play in the first half, was the star on the night.

It's since emerged the woman who stole the headlines is the model girlfriend of Russian Vitaly Zdorovetskiy, a controversial prankster with an X-rated Youtube site.

The 22-year-old Kinsey Wolanski had Vitaly's name printed on the bikini she was wearing, as the images were beamed to millions across the world.

The hilarious stunt certainly did its job in drumming up publicity as the model's name and notoriety began to grow as fast as her new followers on social media.

Unfortunately for many fans, the game failed to live up to the excitement of the streaker's 15-seconds of fame despite a dramatic opening 30 seconds.

Reds crowned Kings of Europe for sixth time

Liverpool were awarded a penalty after 23 seconds following a controversial handball by Moussa Sissoko that Mohamed Salah despatched from the spot to put the Reds up 1-0.

However, any hopes that dramatic opening would be a sign of things to come were dashed as the game largely fizzled out as a spectacle until late in the second half.

Regardless, it will all matter little to Klopp, who won the Champions League at his third attempt after back-to-back finals.

His very first trophy was in 2012, the German Cup with Borussia Dortmund, and he has appeared in finals almost annually since then.

But he missed out on two more German Cups, an English League Cup, a Europa League and two Champions Leagues.

But he's finally claimed the most coveted prize in European club soccer to deliver his first trophy for Liverpool.

"It is the best night of our professional lives," he said. "It took a while, it is important for our development and improvement. This little mark helps a lot, now we can carry on.

"The owners never put pressure on us. Normally 20 minutes after the game I am half drunk but now I have only had water!"

The 51-year-old Klopp has excelled at inspiring a furious, all-out-attacking mentality at Liverpool that he brought with him from Dortmund.

But this final was far from the "heavy metal" pressuring style he likes.

Even so, Klopp, dressed in a dark tracksuit and baseball cap, still shouted and punched his fist in the air to make sure his players didn't have a last-second slip and finished the job.

Before the second goal by Divock Origi that decided the result, he spent most of the match pacing his manager's box, sometimes shaking his head and crossing his arms as if disappointed his players had not gone for the kill after Mohamed Salah's second-minute penalty.

With fulltime, he was calm. He was a champion again.
