'The audacity': Moment of 'pure class' stuns football fans
His side lost the contest, but Dani Olmo has enhanced his reputation in world football with a wonder goal against Manchester City.
Olmo's outrageous strike for Dinamo Zagreb was not enough to beat a rampant Manchester City, who extinguished the Croatian side's hopes of making the Champions League knockout phase, courtesy of a 4-1 victory.
OH DEAR: Teen's incredible record marred by Champions League 'stinker'
'OUTRAGEOUS': Mohamed Salah goal lights up social media
Spanish youngster Olmo is considered one of the brightest and most sought-after young talents in the game and his stunning opener against the English champions showed why.
The 21-year-old Spain international is a graduate of Barcelona's famous La Masia academy and his skill was on show for the world to see in the Croatian capital.
Olmo has been linked with a big-money move to City (among a host of other top clubs) and his goal would have certainly caught the eye of manager Pep Guardiola.
The Zagreb youngster made one of the most difficult skills in football look easy as he met an in-swinging cross from the right with a first-time volley that cannoned into the back of the net.
The power in the shot gave City keeper Claudio Bravo no chance to stop it and the sheer audacity to hit the volley the same direction in which the ball was travelling left fans gobsmacked on social media.
A gorgeous, gorgeous opener for Dinamo.

Gabriel Jesus has scored a 20-minute hat-trick in the 4-1 win for Manchester City that scuppered the Croatian team's chances of advancing to the knockout stages.
Jesus hat-trick inspires City
With Shakhtar Donetsk losing 3-0 to Atalanta in a match being played at the same time on Wednesday night, Dinamo would have secured a runner-up finish behind City with a win at Stadion Maksimir.
Jesus, again deputising for the injured Sergio Aguero, led the fightback by City by heading in Riyad Mahrez's cross for a 34th-minute equaliser.
Dinamo's players complained to the referee and to their City counterparts that the ball should have been kicked out of play in the build-up to the goal while teammate Petar Stojanovic was on the ground, claiming to be injured.
Five minutes into the second half, Jesus exchanged passes with Phil Foden before cutting inside in the area onto his right foot and curling a shot into the far corner.
The Brazil striker completed his haul in the 54th by stretching to volley in a left-wing cross from Benjamin Mendy, who was a constant threat at left back.
Jesus also scored a hat-trick in last season's Champions League, at home to Shakhtar.

Foden, City's highly-rated 19-year-old midfielder, wrapped up the win by finishing off a flowing team move with a close-range shot.
City fielded a weakened team for the game having clinched a last-16 berth with a game to spare.
Dinamo could not capitalise and dropped to fourth in the standings, missing out on a Europa League spot awarded to third-place finishers.
Meanwhile, Atalanta ended up finishing second to qualify with City for the knockout stages.
Timothy Castagne scored the opener in the 66th minute and Mario Pasalic doubled Atalanta's tally shortly after Shakhtar defender Dodo was sent off for a slap on Remo Freuler.
Robin Gosens sealed the result in stoppage time.
