Cameron Brink is joining Unrivaled as one of the open wild-cards and will play for the Lunar Owls beginning with the 2026 season, the league announced Tuesday.

Brink, who signed a multi-year deal, is unable to participate in the 3-on-3 league's inaugural season, which tips off in January, after tearing the ACL in her left knee in June. The injury occurred 15 games into the Stanford product's rookie season with the Los Angeles Sparks.

Brink will join a team that features Skylar Diggins-Smith, Allisha Gray, Natasha Cloud, Shakira Austin and league co-founder Napheesa Collier.

"It was honestly a really easy yes," Brink told PEOPLE this week. "[I'm] just honored that they offered me a spot and an opportunity. I'm really excited and super grateful."

Following Brink's addition, there are two more open roster spots — one wild-card on the Phantom and one place on the Laces following Kelsey Plum's decision to back out of the 2025 season.

Unrivaled will officially open play Jan. 17 in Miami. The league was initially set to include just 30 WNBA players, but it expanded and added six more roster spots in October. The six teams will play 14 games each, and the season will end with a single-elimination Final Four tournament to determine the champion. Games will be played on a 70-foot court with an 18-second shot clock and three seven-minute periods. There will also be an All-Star event and a one-on-one tournament.

TNT struck a media rights deal with the league to broadcast 45 games, and players will receive a minimum of $100,000 for the season. Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark was long rumored to be involved, but won’t play in the first season.
