After shattering a slew of records as one of the first K-pop bands to hit it big in the U.S., they’ve, well, gone and shattered another one. BTS became YouTube’s most-viewed artist across official videos with 26.7 billion views. The news was reported by @chartdata on Twitter.

They dethroned Justin Bieber, placing him at No. 2, with Ed Sheeran and Bad Bunny coming in at third and fourth.

Fans like @queky_ congratulated BTS for “paving the way for this Korean industry!” on Twitter.

BTS has been a pioneer in modeling what international success can look like. That means the guys have completed many firsts and broken lots of records.

Those achievements include becoming the first ever K-pop group to speak at the United Nations, the first to perform on U.S. TV at the American Music Awards and the first to win a Billboard Music Award. So when it comes to milestones for BTS, as always, this is just the beginning.
