Fans erupt over ‘one of the most epic KOs in history’

Derrick Lewis has sent fight fans into a frenzy with an unbelievable last-gasp KO at UFC 229.

The man they call ‘The Beast’ left his heroics for the final 10 seconds against Alexander Volkov on Sunday.

Lewis and Volkov tussled for the full three rounds before The Beast unleashed a huge right hand that send his Russian opponent crashing to the canvas.

Lewis followed up with some huge hammer fists, and as the clock ticked down to the final 10 seconds, the referee was forced to stop the fight.

It marked the latest KO in a three-round heavyweight bout in UFC history.

UFC ‘killer’ shocks fans with vicious knockout

The undercard witnessed one of the most vicious knockouts in recent memory.

UFC 229 fans were treated to a number of massive KOs in the prelims on Sunday, but arguably none bigger than Vicente Luque’s.

Luque wasted little time taking out UFC newcomer Jalin Turner, leaving him unconscious on the mat in the first round.

Luque actually ate a spinning back fist from Turner, but managed to get his opponent to the ground where he unleashed some sickening punches.

The referee was forced to stop the fight as Turner couldn’t defend himself anymore, lying spread-eagled on the canvas in the aftermath.
