Logan Paul fight 'farce' causes uproar amid 'embarrassing' scenes
Fight fans described the bout as "embarrassing" after the dramatic build-up to the bitter showdown.
Fight fans have unloaded on social media after YouTube star Logan Paul's boxing bout against former MMA star Dillon Danis descended into farce. Paul won the fight after Danis was disqualified in the sixth round, twice attempting mixed martial arts moves before security swarmed the ring.
There was a dramatic build-up to the bitter showdown after Danis - best known for being the former sparring partner of Conor McGregor - threw a microphone into his opponent's face in the lead-up to the bout. The actual bout failed to live up to the pre-fight fireworks though after Paul dominated the first five rounds.

Danis has not had one professional fight since 2019 and it showed as he was thoroughly out-punched by Paul, who landed 108 shots compared to just 16 from his opponent. It broke down to 12 power punches and four jabs from Danis, who was behind on the judges' scorecards in all five of the opening rounds, before resorting to questionable tactics that led to his DQ in the sixth.
Unable to do any damage to Paul within the rules of boxing, Danis first attempted an MMA takedown of his opponent. Having failed to get Paul to ground and copping a warning from the referee, Danis then attempted an unsuccessful guillotine, before taking a swing at the raft of security guards that rushed into the ring as the bout ended in comical fashion.

"He's supposed to be good at jiujitsu, what happened bro?," Paul joked about his opponent's dodgy tactics after the fight. "Stuffed the takedown, tried that. Tried to do a guillotine, sorry I missed that hammer fist. Ooh that would have been good.
"Dang, I'm sorry it ended that way, y'all. Dillon Danis truly is a coward. Just a dirty, dirty human being." Fight fans were also less than impressed with the farcical scenes, with some even suggesting that Danis should never be allowed back into a boxing ring again.

Tommy Fury beats KSI in main event bout
The fight took place on the undercard of the main event bout between British boxer Tommy Fury - brother of legendary heavyweight Tyson - and another famous YouTube star, KSI. The bout saw Fury claim a majority decision win in a scrappy cruiserweight headliner at the packed-out AO Arena in Manchester.
KSI - whose real name is Olajide William Olatunji - went down to Fury in what was the British boxer's latest victory over a YouTube star. Fury beat Jake Paul in Saudi Arabia in February and moved to 10-0 as a professional fighter after the win against KSI, having shifted to focus his career on lucrative crossover contests in recent months.
Fury landed several big blows with his famous brother watching ringside but the bout underlined the relative novice status of both fighters. Despite being docked a point for repeatedly punching to the back of KSI’s head, Fury edged the contest 57-56 on two of the judge's scorecards, while the third had it 57-57 after six rounds.
