Ebanie Bridges has delivered a stunning foul-mouthed spray to her critics after beating Maria Cecilia Roman to win the IBF women’s bantamweight title.

Fighting on the undercard for Josh Warrington's bout against Kiko Martinez in Leeds on Saturday, Bridges claimed a unanimous points victory.

The 'Blonde Bomber' won by the judges' scores of 100-91, 97-93, 97-93 in a brutal bout.

Roman had held the belt since 2017 but lost in her sixth title defence.

Bridges, who regularly cops criticism for wearing lingerie during weigh-ins, took aim at her critics in a stunning post-fight spray.

The Sydneysider constantly faces criticism that she can't actually fight and is only known for her skimpy pre-fight outfits.

"I would like to say, 'Can I f****** fight or not?'," she told DAZN Sports.

"F*** you guys who think I can't fight.

"I can f***ing fight. I can box, I can fight, and I can look hot on the scales so hopefully I've proved a lot of doubters wrong."

Bridges was overwhelmed with emotion after the biggest victory of her career.

"I feel proud of myself, and I feel extremely happy because it means everything I have sacrificed and all the work I've done has been worth it," she said.

"This belt represents everything: all the heartbreaks, the sacrifice and all the training so I'm happy.

"Maria was a tough champion and she brought it so that meant I could do the stuff I love to do.

"I'm about entertaining and for me that was so fun. It was tough, she was the champion and she brought it and that was awesome.

"It was a great fight, I enjoyed it and I'm just grateful and blessed that I was able to become world champion in this beautiful city of Leeds."

Ebanie Bridges slammed for 'degrading' antics

British rival Shannon Courtenay is among those to have taken issue with Bridges' weigh-in attire.

“I’m a fighter, not a lingerie model,” Courtenay said before her bout against Bridges last year.

“This is a world title fight. Have some respect for the game.

"You’ve got people like Katie Taylor who has worked her arse off for years to allow women like me to be in this position - through hard work and dedication she’s managed to get women’s boxing where it is - and you want to disrespect it and degrade the sport by talking about your weigh-in outfit and lingerie?

"Have some respect and some decorum for boxing.”

However Bridges shot back, saying she's simply trying to promote her fights.

“Let’s be real. If I wore what everyone else wore, people wouldn’t be interested. I’d just be another fight. Whatever,” she told Sky Sports.

“I’m trying to bring more eyes to the sport.

"You can criticise me as much as you like. But if I looked plain then you wouldn’t even know this fight was happening.

“People will tune in to see if this girl wearing lingerie can actually fight, or is she just a model?

“If people had my body and my confidence then they would do it, but people are too scared of being judged.

“As a bodybuilder I stood on stage in a bikini flexing my body. I love it. I don’t care what people think.

“Doing weigh-ins is showing off my hard work. It’s something I enjoy. I make it a thing where my fans can interact with me. This is an entertainment business.

“This is something different that others aren’t doing. Why do I need to be the same as everyone else?

“Everyone wears underwear at weigh-ins. Do you want me to wear a paper bag?”
