Bowler hit with fine over 'pathetic' gesture towards Aussie

Pakistani bowler Sohail Tanvir has been punished by the Caribbean Premier League after sending off Aussie Ben Cutting with a rude gesture.

Guyana Amazon Warriors Tanvir has been hit with a fine of 15% of his match fee, after making the gesture against the St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots.

The CPL revealed Tanvir admitted to a breach in the code of conduct.

Tanvir was caught on camera raising the middle finger of both his hands in Cutting’s direction after clean-bowling him.

The Pakistani appeared to be upset that Cutting hit him for six on his previous delivery.

Fellow Aussie batsman Chris Lynn reacted with anger after seeing the incident.

Fans were also shocked by Tanvir’s disrespectful act.

Cutting made 15 off 14 balls in the T20 tournament.
