Ben Ross reveals graphic images of arm wrestling injury

Former NRL player Ben Ross has revealed some gruesome images from his surgery on the arm he broke during an arm wrestle with Wendell Sailor on live television.

Ross, who is recovering in Royal North Shore hospital, was competing in the event to raise money for The Men of League foundation where he works as a welfare manager, however things turned ugly when he badly broke his arm in an incident he described as the most painful experience of his life.

After undergoing successful surgery, Ross posted this image on Instagram with the following caption:

"Finally got to see the fractures, plates, screws and scar that will be with me for life,” Ross wrote on his post.

“Gotta take positives out of every negative!"
