Bellator MMA fighter KOs opponent with devastating punch
Kicking off Bellator 153 as the first fight on the card, Dutch fighter Djamil Chan demolished Richard Patishnock with one huge right hand.
Early in the first round, Patishnock managed to bring his opponent to the ground twice. But after failing to lock in a triangle choke, the pair both took to their feet, and Chan pounced.
As he scrambled to his feet, Patishnock was hit by a huge right hand from Chan to the side of the head.
The 25-year-old followed up with a left hook as Patishnock's legs buckled, but the American was out cold before he had hit the ground.
The fight ended at the 3:09 point of the first round, marking Chan's seventh consecutive win, and his first in Bellator MMA.
