Bayern vs Manchester United: Thomas Tuchel ban sees former Chelsea favourite in dugout

Manchester United will tomorrow face a Bayern Munich side without Thomas Tuchel on the touchline, but still a few familiar faces in the dugout.

Tuchel is still serving a Champions League ban after being sent off during last season's quarter-final defeat to Manchester City, meaning his coaching team will step up in his place.

Assistant coaches Anthony Barry and Zsolt Low will take charge of the team, both having previously worked with Tuchel at Chelsea.

Barry was already at Stamford Bridge upon Tuchel's arrival but the German was so impressed by the Englishman's work he took him to Bavaria with him.

The set-piece specialist was a favourite at the Blues, who pocketed £1million in compensation when Barry made the switch to the Allianz Arena.

The 36-year-old also has coaching experience with the Republic of Ireland, Belgium and currently Portugal.

Low has a longer working relationship with Tuchel, with the pair together at Paris Saint-Germain before their spell in west London.

The 44-year-old Hungarian has also worked with the likes of Ralf Rangnick and Ralph Hasenhuttl.
