Delly the best I’ve ever played with: Antetokounmpo
Matthew Dellavedova seems to have settled into life at Milwaukee seamlessly, and now the Aussie basketball star has received the ultimate compliment from one of his new teammates.
Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo left no room for uncertainty after describing the Australian point guard as “the best” he’s played alongside.
“Matthew is the best teammate I have ever played with in these four years,” Antetokounmpo told reporters.
“Everything he does he wants to get it right.”
The 21-year-old Greece superstar has just signed a four year extension with the Bucks that’s worth around $133 million.
Antetokounmpo has already forged a solid partnership with Dellavedova, who left the Cleveland Cavs to join the Bucks this season in a $51 million four-year-deal.
The Greek star also spoke in glowing terms about the other Aussie at the Bucks, 19-year-old rookie Thon Maker.
“I told him (Maker) you have to spend as much time as you can in the gym because the way you are built and your skill set is unbelievable."
“He has great work ethic so for him I think the sky is the limit,” Antetokounmpo said of Maker.
