Barrow have signed Barnsley forward Andy Dallas on a season-long loan deal.

The 24-year-old Scot scored once in four League One appearances for the Tykes last season after joining from Solihull Moors in July 2023.

He also had loan spells with Scottish Premiership club Kilmarnock and National League side Oldham.

"He has the ability to stretch defences, and technically he can finish off both feet so I'm really looking forward to working with him," boss Stephen Clemence told the club website.

Meanwhile, veteran midfielder Sam Foley has signed a new one-year deal.

The 37-year-old has made 92 appearances for the Bluebirds over two seasons.

The League Two club have also announced that goalkeeper and goalkeeping coach Josh Lillis will leave at the end of his contract next week after failing to agree terms on a new deal.

Lillis joined the club as back-up in 2020 and has made 15 appearances.
