In an all-American fourth-round affair, Kenin kept her cool to come back from a set down and score a 6-7 (5-7), 6-3, 6-0 victory on Sunday over the rising star.
Kenin, 21, has never been past the fourth round at a major and she'll have a golden chance to reach semi-finals at Melbourne Park, facing Serena Williams' slayer Qiang Wang or Tunisian surprise packet Ons Jabeur.

On Friday, the 15-year-old played on Rod Laver Arena for the first time in her fledgling career and stormed into the fourth round with a 6-3, 6-4 win over the Japanese third seed Naomi Osaka.
