'What a tournament': US teen star knocked out of Australian Open in dramatic fashion

Tennis teen sensation Coco Gauff has been knocked out of the Australian Open in dramatic fashion.

Fourteenth seed Sofia Kenin brought the curtain down on Gauff's Australian Open debut, winning through to a maiden grand slam quarter-final.

In an all-American fourth-round affair, Kenin kept her cool to come back from a set down and score a 6-7 (5-7), 6-3, 6-0 victory on Sunday over the rising star.

Kenin, 21, has never been past the fourth round at a major and she'll have a golden chance to reach semi-finals at Melbourne Park, facing Serena Williams' slayer Qiang Wang or Tunisian surprise packet Ons Jabeur.
