Some of the biggest names at the Australian Open would be nothing without the love and support of their partners. From Rafa Nadal's wife Xisca to Nick Kyrgios' girlfriend Costeen Hatzi, here's a look at some of the 'WAGs' and 'HABs' you might see around Melbourne Park in 2023.

Rafa Nadal's wife Xisca Perello

Nadal and Perello were together for 14 years before finally getting married in October 2019. Late last year they welcomed their first child together - a baby boy named Rafael Jr.

Xisca and Rafa Jr are both in Australia cheering on Nadal at the Melbourne Park grand slam, with Xisca spotted at the United Cup in Sydney earlier in January. "Luckily, I have a woman who is brave. And she has always helped me in everything I could and more, and she has always encouraged me to continue," Nadal said in a recent interview.

Xisca was hospitalised last August due to complications with the pregnancy, but encouraged Nadal to play at the US Open and Laver Cup in September. "So, in that sense, she made it easy for me," Nadal revealed. "In fact, it was she who encouraged me to go to the United States."

Nick Kyrgios' girlfriend Costeen Hatzi

Kyrgios and Hatzi recently marked two years together, with Kyrgios praising his new girlfriend for his breakout year in 2022. The Aussie star made the final at Wimbledon and fell agonisingly short of winning his maiden grand slam singles title.

Kyrgios recently put his successful season down to his newfound happiness on and off the court. "None of this could have been done without her," he said in December. "It's been a very successful year, not only on the tennis court but just in general. I'm feeling really, really good about everything and just enjoying life.

"And meeting Costeen was probably my favourite moment, probably the best thing that's happened to me - and the year I've had as a highly motivated and highly pushed player, has been because of her. That's been my favourite experience.

"I just feel happier off the court, really just trying to be happy off the court - and that shows up on the court too. She's just the best thing ever and just makes me feel amazing, believes in my tennis and believes in me off the court too. We have such a good relationship."

Maria Sakkari's boyfriend Konstantinos Mitsotakis

The World No.6 from Greece has been dating Konstantinos Mitsotakis for the last two years. Mitsotakis is the son of Greece's Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

"Konstantinos is a very simple guy. I can talk to him for hours. We have a very easy relationship. He is a very easy person," she said recently.

"The truth is he helped me a lot. He is a special guy. I have disclosed the relationship anyway. It is not hidden.

"I know that I am happy and I have the right person next to me who makes me happy and I just focus on that. There are always malicious people in everything you do in life, whether it's a relationship or your job. They will always find something to say. I know that I am very good with this man, that we have a great time together and that's what matters."

Taylor Fritz's girlfriend Morgan Riddle

The men's World No.10, Fritz is dating model Morgan Riddle - an influencer who regularly documents her experiences traveling the world watching him play tennis.

Last year she attempted to give Americans a unique insight into the sport, saying: “I know tennis is relatively uncool and unknown in America”. In a viral video, Riddle explained the four grand slams, how the ATP tour works, as well as the scoring and rankings systems.

“I think what she did was awesome for our sport. It got a ton of people looking at it," Fritz said. “I think you get your typical older fan maybe upset about it. I don’t understand how anyone can get upset about it.

"I’m the one that’s a professional tennis player, I’m the one that does this for a living. I 100 per cent agree with everything in that video."

Jason Kubler and Maddison Inglis

Jason Kubler and Maddison Inglis are said to be the new golden couple of Aussie tennis, with their relationship recently coming to light at the United Cup. The pair both played for Australia at the mixed-gender event, looking very cosy together during a pre-tournament photo shoot.

Kubler enjoyed a breakout tournament, beating Dan Evans and Albert Ramos-Vinolas to surge to a career-high ranking of World No.86. Inglis didn't fare as well and won't be in action at the Australian Open after losing in qualifying.
