Arsenal 3-0 Monaco - the fans' verdict
We asked for your thoughts after Wednesday's Champions League game between Arsenal and Monaco.
Here are some of your comments:
Colin: Bit too nervy - again. Great final result though.
Hamish: A good win while never feeling too comfortable. We didn't have to be at our best and the score line flatters a tad, given how sloppy we were in front of goal at times. Three goals from open play though to silence the suggestions we only score from set pieces! I enjoyed the performance from Myles Lewis-Skelly, who looks comfortable under the brightest lights, and another sharp cameo from Ethan Nwaneri too.
Joseph: Missed so many chances in first-half. We were gifted a goal against the run of play when Monaco put us under pressure. The game should have been done and dusted by half-time. But it is a win and we are sitting in a good position.
Vince: In the first-half I thought it would be one of those games where we'd be punished for missing easy chances. Thank goodness for Bukayo Saka. Even against an obvious strategy to mark him out of the game, he scored two and made one. Sooner rather than later he's going to eclipse Mohamed Salah.
Ron: Arsenal are a great team, but lacking a centre-forward who could take them to the top. They must buy a top striker in the January transfer window.
