Arike Ogunbowale trolled Courtney Williams after Unrivaled playoffs upset loss

Lunar Owls guard Courtney Williams would've had a chance at $50,000 had it not been for a stunning loss to Vinyl BC.

On Sunday, Williams, league MVP Napheesa Collier and the entire Lunar Owls squad went toe-to-toe with Teresa Weatherspoon's team but came up short. Vinyl had a sensational fourth quarter, during which they held the Lunar Owls to just eight points and erased a 10-point deficit. Vinyl guard Jordin Canada had her best game of the season with 21 points, and forward Dearica Hamby closed the door with a crafty game-winning bucket over Collier to seal the upset victory over the No. 1 seed Lunar Owls.

Of course, that kind of loss stings, prompting Williams to ponder what could have been if the team had won and she received the $50,000 prize each player on the winning team walks away with. "[Fifty thousand dollars] just gone," Williams posted to X (formerly Twitter). Moments later, Vinyl guard Arike Ogunbowale responded, "I'm just tryna figure out how it’s gone [and you] ain’t even have it yet."
