Tottenham's Ange Postecoglou has beaten Arsenal counterpart Mikel Arteta to manager of the year at the London Football Awards 2024.

The Australian has impressed during his first season in north London, overseeing the departure of captain Harry Kane and implementing a thrilling style of attacking football not seen under recent managers in N17.

Spurs are firmly in the hunt for a return to the Champions League after a year absence but did suffer early exits in both the FA Cup and Carabao Cup.

Postecoglou beat 2023 winner Arteta to the prize despite the Spaniard overseeing another title race a few miles down the road, looking to go one better after last season's run-in collapse.

Arteta also has Arsenal fighting in the Champions League knockout stages, though must overturn a 1-0 first-leg loss to Porto to reach the quarter-finals.

Also nominated were West Ham's David Moyes, Chelsea Women's outgoing head coach Emma Hayes and Leyton Orient's Richie Wellens.
