EXCLUSIVE: Bombers veteran to call it quits

Essendon veteran Jason Winderlich is set to retire at the end of the season.

In a surprise move given his electrifying form at times this season, Yahoo7 understands Winderlich has told his teammates he won't be going on in 2015.

There is speculation he will return to Gippsland to play with old mates next season.

Winderlich has had to battle a run of injuries through his career and is hugely popular at the Bombers.
