'Nonsensical drivel': Carlton banner bagged again
Fans have flocked to social media in condemnation after Carlton's banner writer put in another poor display on Sunday.
Carlton made it 0-2 after losing to the Demons, but they're apparently 0-2 in more ways than one.
The Blues were ridiculed in round one when their banner tried to make fun of Richmond opponent Dustin Martin's hair.
"Richmond's five year plan has become a disaster, the vision impaired like Dusty's barber," the banner said.
Considering it wasn't overly funny to begin with, it got even worse when Martin kicked four goals to lead the Tigers to victory.
However their second attempt at humour in round two has been met with even more criticism:
Literally no one thinks hovercrafts are cooler. Name one rapper who brags about the size of his hovercraft!? #AFLDeesBlues pic.twitter.com/wRAoSS7PGt

Even Danny McGinlay, who shot to fame last year for his brilliant Western Bulldogs banners, has had his say:
Hey @CarltonFC... have you even seen Ferris Bueller? You know he always wins right?? https://t.co/G8I0HZblVv

McGinlay was asked about Carlton's round one banner last week on AFL Game Day, admitting they didn't really nail it.
"It's almost a joke, it just seems to be missing a few words in the third line," he said.
"It's the first round, it's always a bit rough for the newbies."
And McGinlay definitely knows what he's talking about. Here are a few of his best efforts from 2016:
