Crows youngster produces one of the all-time great misses

Adelaide Crows ruckman Reilly O'Brien will be thanking his lucky stars it's only pre-season after a horrible miss from five metres out against Richmond.

O'Brien was lining up from straight in front at point blank range late in the Crows' loss on Friday night when he shanked his set shot terribly.

What should have been a certain goal actually went out of bounds on the full, leaving the 21-year-old rather red-faced.

Luckily for O'Brien the shocker didn't affect the result, and it's still pre-season after all.

However it will almost certainly go down as one of the all-time great misses.

The Tigers opened their pre-season account with a 19-point win over Adelaide.
