The short video shows a number of boxes stacked on top of one another, with Bolton standing at the opposite end of the gym.

He then sprints towards the 60-inch (152.4cm) tower of boxes, before springing off two feet and somehow managing to plant both feet on top of the highest box.

To put the astonishing box jump into perspective, Bolton's leap would have seen him clear someone standing five-foot tall.

Bolton seemed to surprise himself as he laughed into the camera, with Geelong’s Quinton Narkle sharing the incredible footage from his smart phone.

Geelong veteran Patrick Dangerfield was the talk of the AFL in January when he wowed fans with an impressive 57-inch (144.78cm) leap.

However, the AFL great's mark didn't last long as Greater Western Sydney youngster Isaac Cumming was filmed jumping up on top of a 59-inch (149.86cm) tower

Both men have been shunted down the pecking order now after Bolton's incredible effort on Monday.

Unsurprisingly, 22-year-old's high-flying feat left footy fans gobsmacked on social media.
