Martin bends home boundary line stunner

Gold Coast's Jack Martin made it look easy as he curled through a stunning boundary line goal with no angle to work with against North Melbourne.

The Suns forward began the game brightly and his goal in the second quarter was straight off the top shelf.

Martin was almost in the grandstand when he began his run-up and after a few short steps he bent through a superb six-pointer to extend the home side's early lead.

"Just keep shooting from the boundary line Jack Martin, no problem at all!" commentator Brenton Speed enthused.

Martin's goal helped the Suns race out to a 71-38 lead at halftime in Gold Coast veteran Gary Ablett's 300th match in the AFL.
