Aberdeen record back-to-back wins for first time this season

Aberdeen recorded back-to-back wins for the first time this season in the SWPL with a hard-fought win against Montrose.

After their impressive 3-0 win against Queen's Park on Sunday, Chloe Glover quickly, and sensationally, fired Scott Booth's side ahead at Links Park with a superb free-kick.

Montrose responded when Holly Daniel capitalised on a defensive mishap and punished Annalise McCann in goal.

The visitors restored their lead when Kerry Beattie picked up a slack pass from Montrose goalkeeper Rowena Armitage and fed in captain Hannah Stewart who swept home.

The Dons move up a spot to eigth, while Montrose remain tenth.
