Aaron Donald returns to Saints-Rams game after suffering back injury
The NFC championship rematch between the Los Angeles Rams and New Orleans Saints got off to a brutal start.
Saints quarterback Drew Brees left in the first quarter with an apparent hand injury.

Then early in the second quarter, Rams All-Pro defensive tackle Aaron Donald left the field following an awkward fall after rushing Saints backup quarterback Teddy Bridgewater.

The Rams announced shortly after he left the field that Donald had suffered a back injury, but he returned to the field to open the second half, having avoided suffering a serious injury.
