NASCAR starting lineup at New Hampshire: Kyle Busch, Kyle Larson to start on front row

For the second straight playoff weekend, Kyle Busch is starting out front.

Busch captured the pole for Sunday's ISM Connect 300 at New Hampshire with a speed of 135.049 mph at the one-mile track, just ahead of Kyle Larson, who finished second to Denny Hamlin at July's Cup Series race at New Hampshire.

In that race earlier this season, Hamlin led 54 laps on his way to the checkered flag, beating out Larson by .509 seconds. Martin Truex Jr. finished third, followed by Matt Kenseth and Kevin Harvick.

Nine of the 16 playoff drivers have previously visited victory lane at New Hampshire. They’ll attempt to join Truex with an automatic bid to the second round. Kurt Busch, Jimmie Johnson and Kenseth lead active drivers with three wins apiece at The Magic Mile. Kyle Busch, Hamlin and Harvick have won at New Hampshire twice.
