Ecstatic Jamaican fans erupt after Bolt win

Supporters from around the world were in awe when Usain Bolt became the first man in history to win three straight Olympic 100-metre titles.

But perhaps the most raucous cheers for the greatest ever sprinter came from his army of Jamaican fans in Brazil.

The noise was deafening as hundreds of Jamaicans gathered at outdoor venues in Rio de Janeiro wildly celebrated the incredible feat.

Bolt claimed gold in a time of 9.81 seconds to defeat American rival Justin Gatlin, who was booed by the crowd in the lead-up to the race.
