A 12-team parlay heavy on Swiss Super League soccer hits at 341-to-1 odds
Mix five soccer bets for both teams to score, a few college football spreads, a couple other soccer bets and a baseball wager, and you have a crazy 12-team parlay.
It was a winner. A customer at BetMGM made a $150 bet on a 12-team parlay with about 341-to-1 odds. It was a hodgepodge of wagers, and they all won.
The bettor won $51,175.
Swiss Super League soccer key to parlay
Huge parlays that hit often seem entirely random. They're pulled from different sports and leagues with no clear thread between them. The plays seem thrown together, though it's possible they're not.
The one thing this big parlay bettor liked was taking a soccer match for both teams to score. Of the 12 legs of the parlay, five of them were both teams to score in a soccer match, all of which were from the Swiss Super League. Apparently they don't play much defense in that league:
FC St. Gallen-FC Zurich both teams to score -165
FC Sion-FC Lugano both teams to score -145
FC Luzern-FC Lausanne both teams to score -200
Grasshopper Club Zurich-Servette FC both teams to score -200
FC Basel-BSC Young Boys both teams to score -200
Bayern Munich -600 vs. Hertha BSC
Liverpool-Chelsea under 3.5
Illinois +7 vs. Nebraska
Fresno State -28 vs. UConn
UCLA -17.5 vs. Hawaii
UTEP -9.5 at New Mexico State
Giants -115 at Braves
In addition to the five "both teams to score" sides from Swiss soccer, there was an under in Liverpool-Chelsea in the EPL. Maybe they play more defense in England. That match finished 1-1. Bayern Munich won 5-0 as a -600 favorite. Four college football games all covered easily. The Giants won 5-0 too in the lone baseball game on the card.
However this bettor came to those 12 legs might be a mystery, but it doesn't matter. They all hit. And it made for a heck of a payday.
