It wasn't even a year ago that Dallas Mavericks fans were on cloud 9.
The Mavericks ran through the gauntlet in the Western Conference and made it to the NBA Finals. They beat the Clippers, the Thunder and the Timberwolves to make it there. All on the back of Luka Doncic.
Now, he's gone.
Surely, everyone has seen the news by now. In one of the most shocking trades in the history of sports, Doncic has been dealt to the Los Angeles Lakers for Anthony Davis and a 2029 first-round pick. That's not a sentence I thought I'd ever have to type.
The fans aren't happy with this one. They protested outside of the arena the next day. The vibes are terrible in Dallas right now.
