These 15 golfers won on the PGA Tour for the first time in 2024

In a year where Scottie Scheffler has won seven times and dominated the PGA Tour, it has also been a good season for first-time winners on Tour.

Whether it was the amateur winning for the first time in 33 years in January or a scoring record going down in July, there have been 14 first-time winners on the PGA Tour in 2024. Those range from rookies to seasoned veterans and from all over the globe.

And those wins have come from California to Florida and Canada to Mexico. As the season comes to an end, the chance for first time winners to add their name to this list shrinks, but more than 25 percent of events on the schedule had first-time winners in 2024.

Here's a look at the players who picked up their first PGA Tour win this year.

Nick Dunlap, American Express

Dunlap became the first am to win on Tour since Phil Mickelson.

Matthieu Pavon, Farmers Insurance Open

Pavon became the first Frenchman to win on the PGA Tour.

Jake Knapp, Mexico Open at Vidanta

Knapp picked up his first victory in Mexico, the first rookie to win in 2024.

Austin Eckroat, Cognizant Classic

It took a Monday finish, but Eckroat got win No. 1 in Florida.

Jaeger held off Scheffler and a host of others to get his first win by a shot.

Making a Presidents Cup push, Pendrith claimed his first win in Dallas in a dramatic finish.

Chris Gotterup, Myrtle Beach Classic

The former Haskins winner claimed his first victory in the inaugural Myrtle Beach Classic.

Robert MacIntyre, RBC Canadian Open

The first Tour victory for the Scot came in Canada, the 16th lefty to win on Tour.

Davis Thompson, John Deere Classic

Thompson set a tournament scoring record with his first win in Illinois.

Harry Hall, ISCO Championship

It took a playoff, but Hall broke through in Kentucky.

Aaron Rai, Wyndham Championship

In a wild finish, Rai held off Max Greyserman for his first win in the regular-season finale.

Kevin Yu, Sanderson Farms Championship

Yu was the first FedEx Cup Fall first-time winner, doing so in a playoff.

Matt McCarty, Black Desert Championship

McCarty, the 2024 Korn Ferry Tour Player of the Year, won in his second start on the PGA Tour.

Rafael Campos - Butterfield Bermuda Championship

Campos, 36, broke through for the first time in Bermuda and just in time as he needed the win to maintain his PGA Tour card.

Maverick McNealy - RSM Classic

In the last event of the year, McNealy got his breakthrough victory.
