Tragically, the fire killed the occupant of the trailer, who has not yet been identified.

Police said the camper-trailer would remain a crime scene as officers worked to determine the person’s identity.

The trailer would also need to be stabilised to allow investigators to establish the cause of the blaze.

In a statement, police said no further vegetation was damaged and investigations were ongoing.
