Women's League Cup semi-finals: Man City host WSL leaders Chelsea in last four

Manchester City have been drawn against Women's Super League rivals Chelsea in the League Cup semi-finals.

City reached the last four with a 1-0 win over Tottenham on Wednesday, while Emma Hayes' side beat Sunderland 5-0.

In the other semi-final, Aston Villa will visit the winner of London City Lionesses v Arsenal who play their rearranged last-eight game on 14 February.

The semi-final ties will be played on 6 and 7 March.

London City are the lowest-ranked side left in the competition and had their midweek quarter-final against the Gunners postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.

Holders Arsenal beat Chelsea 3-1 in last year's final and have lifted the trophy more times than any other club, winning the competition six times in total.

Chelsea's meeting against Gareth Taylor's side is a repeat of the 2022 final, which City won 3-1. to claim a fourth League Cup in their history.

Hayes' side are currently top of the WSL, with City three points behind in second.
