Norwegian curling team show some love on Valentine's Day
They might be pursuing Olympic glory this Valentine’s Day, but that doesn’t mean the men’s curling team from Norway can’t show us all a little love.
They donned heart-covered red, pink and white pants for their match against Japan on Wednesday.
Their love-ly pants were a hit, but Norway’s match was a miss: they were surprised by Japan, losing 6-4.
It wasn't the only time Valentine's Day was a hot topic in PyeongChang on Wednesday.
With Tiger Woods firmly in the rear-view mirror, American skier Lindsey Vonn took to Twitter for some Valentine’s Day fun.
At 3:52 p.m. Korea time, Vonn polled her 994,000 Twitter followers to see if there was a person out there willing to be her valentine. Plenty of replies ensued.
So apparently it’s Valentine’s Day....I forgot all about it because I’m at the #Olympics and I’m single. Anyone else out there single and want to be my valentine? 🤷🏼♀️ #worthashot

Some questioned Vonn’s tactics, others had fun with her. She seemed to take it all in stride.
You never know 🤷🏼♀️ https://t.co/ehHwSEAX3C

Eventually, one offer came in that Vonn found “enticing.”
A Matt Lucas, who is apparently a sports medicine resident at Stanford, offered to send her a valentine “in the form of kinesiotape and PRP to heal [Vonn’s] ailments.”
God let it be me... 🙏 I’ve got feet on the ground in Pyeongchang to hand deliver your valentine in the form of kinesiotape and PRP to heal your ailments ❤️ just say the word

You would imagine Vonn is pretty well taken care of by Team USA in the sports medicine department, but we guess it’s the sentiment that counts.
