Windows Rattle in San Francisco Skyscraper Amid Deadly Storm

The windows of a San Francisco skyscraper shook late on Wednesday, January 4, during a deadly storm in the area.

This footage was captured by Sean Lawson, who said he recorded it from the Salesforce Tower on Mission Street on Wednesday night.

The National Weather Service warned that heavy rain would continue throughout the night and urged drivers to stay off the roads. A flood warning was in place for the entire Bay Area through Thursday. “Very strong” winds were said to be coming ashore.

More than 4,000 residents across the city were left without power as of 1 am on January 5, according to Poweroutage.us, with energy provider Pacific Gas and Electric warning locals to prepare for “extended outages.”
