Whelan says City 'should have scored more' despite 6-0 win over Accies

Emily Whelan says Glasgow City "should have scored more" in their 6-0 win over Hamilton Accies.

Despite a slow start at Petershill Park, Whelan grabbed two goals in an ultimately comfortable win against relegation-threatened Accies.

"We came in at half time knowing that we needed to be ruthless," she told club media.

"We had lots of chances, probably should have scored more but I am glad that we got the goals and we are just looking forward to the next one on Sunday.

"I always try to give 100% no matter who we play. It was nice to get the goals and the assists but it was all down to the girls to get me in those positions so credit to them."
