A lot of talk this week has been around West Ham's search for a striker after the hamstring injury Niclas Fullkrug suffered in Friday's FA Cup defeat by Aston Villa and the absence of Michail Antonio after his car accident.

Four shots and three goals - and most importantly three points - against Fulham will delight new Hammers boss Graham Potter.

The former Brighton and Chelsea boss will not have had much time to work with his players - and his previous sides have often lacked a cutting edge - so this was an encouraging start.

There are still issues at the other end - the Hammers have the fourth worst defensive record in the Premier League.

They will find it hard to climb too far up the table if they keep gifting goals like they did on Tuesday.

But all new managers like to make an immediate impact and Potter has done that.
