Cameron Congreve is making a case to be given a chance to prove himself at Swansea City during a positive loan spell with Bromley.

The 21-year-old scored twice in Bromley's 3-3 League Two draw at Salford City on Tuesday night, with the club describing Congreve as "our Welsh wizard" on social media.

No wonder, perhaps, given that Congreve has found the target four times in his last six games.

In all, the Wales Under-21 international has scored five times in 31 games for Bromley, who are 16th in the fourth tier following last season's promotion from the National League.

That represents a big step forward for Swansea academy product Congreve, who failed to feature in the first team in 2023-24 having made 18 appearances under Russell Martin across the previous two campaigns.

Congreve's Swansea contract expires at the end of this season, though the deal includes an option for a 12-month extension.
