Both her husband, Jesse Plemons, and the statue helped the actress stay upright during the mishap.

Kirsten Dunst almost took a tumble during the Oscars but won the award for most graceful recovery.

While walking the red carpet at the 96th Academy Awards on Sunday, the actress accidentally bumped into a giant Oscar statue while turning around to pose for photos and reaching out her hand to her husband, Jesse Plemons.

As she tripped and almost fell, she grabbed the statue to remain upright. Plemons also helped save her from falling as she held onto his shoulders. The duo laughed as they shook off the moment, and photographers kept snapping photos.

That wasn't the only red carpet mishap of the night. YouTuber/actress Liza Koshy fell down earlier but also recovered like a pro.

"That’s alright,” she said, striking a pose on the ground. "We’re good down here too." As people rushed over to help her stand up, she joked, "There was a manhole, y’all saw? I'm good, I got my ankles insured, so we're fine. It's a write-off."
