'Warnock's refreshing realism'; 'Good shout to drop Roos'

We asked for your thoughts after Aberdeen booked their place in the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup with a 2-0 win against Bonnyrigg Rose.

Here's a taste of what you had to say:

Justin: Not the greatest result today but at least Neil Warnock is being open and honest about what's going on. Just shows the level of rebuild parts of the team may need.

Kieran: Was a simple enough win. We did enough and took the foot off the brake in the second half. Would be lost without Bojan Miovski. Hopefully good end to the campaign, back in the top six and a cup win.

John: Good shout from the manager dropping Roos who has been great for us last couple of seasons but had a shocker at Ibrox.

Stuart: Disappointing not to score any more goals in the second half, and interesting to see if Doohan will be in goal midweek against Motherwell.

Niall: More Miovski magic settled it for the Dons but the home side ought to have stamped their authority on this match. The energy in midfield was there but the Dons really created few clear-cut chances beyond the two goals. We need to restore the ruthless forward line that bore fruits in the second half of last season. The clean sheet today was a bonus.

Joe: Neil Warnock would like to win the Scottish Cup. Not with this Aberdeen team. You need midfielders who can score regularly, we have none. Another clear out needed if we are to have any chance of winning anything next season.

Fred: We are a one man team, where would we be without Miovski? The opposition had the bulk of possession which is inexcusable. I hope our new manager can bring any skill we have to the fore,we cannot hope to beat a better team if we perform like today.

Graham: Look, the bottom line is that the Dons are in the next round and Bonnyrigg played exceptionally well. Warnock didn't pull any punches and told it like it was. Refreshing to have some realism rather than sugar-coating it like previously.

Mark: 2-0 flattered us today. Bonnyrigg deserved a goal at least and we were very average in the second half.
