Middlesbrough have rejected a third bid from Aston Villa for striker Morgan Rogers.
Villa have targeted the 21-year-old in recent weeks and had two offers turned down last week.
Boro owner Steve Gibson is determined not to let Rogers leave for less than his valuation for the player, which is thought to be around £12m.
Rogers only joined the Championship side in the summer for £1.5m. However, Manchester City negotiated a huge sell-on fee for the player.
