The new series will follow the 'Vanderpump Rules' alumni and several newcomers as they navigate relationships and parenthood in suburbia
Vanderpump Rules is heading to the valley.
Bravo announced that a spinoff, titled The Valley, will premiere this spring. The network announced the new series and dropped a first look at the Vanderpump Rules season 11 premiere party on Wednesday,
The show will star Vanderpump Rules alumni Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright and Kristen Doute, along with new additions Luke Broderick, Danny Booko, Nia Booko, Jesse Lally, Michelle Lally, Jason Caperna and Janet Caperna. Jasmine Goode and Zack Wickham will appear as "friends" on the series.
The Valley — like its predecessor — will follow a group of friends in Los Angeles. But the group will “trade bottle service in West Hollywood for baby bottles in the Valley all while they navigate bustling businesses, rocky relationships and feisty friendships,” per the official synopsis.
In the first teaser of the new series, fans are introduced to the new cast, with help from Taylor traveling through the streets of the San Fernando Valley. The first look provides a glimpse at the new faces as they tend to their suburban duties.
As the clip comes to a close, his wife Cartwright, 34, is heard shouting for her husband to “Stop messing around and mow the dang yard.” Taylor, 44, retorts, “Okay honey! Love you!,” before he’s seen riding off in a child’s toy car.
Doute, 40, reunites with her former costars, Taylor and Cartwright, and is joined by her current boyfriend and now costar, Luke Broderick.
Taylor and Cartwright have made a life for their family of three in the valley. Taylor has met new friends in his new neighborhood, including Danny. After Taylor and Danny became friends, Cartwright formed a bond with his wife, as the two bonded over motherhood and their moves to suburbia, per the description.
While the former Vanderpump Rules cast members have recruited new faces into the group of friends, Brittany’s best friend from college, Zack joined the group alongside the trio’s longtime friend, Janet. After years in West Hollywood, Janet and her husband, Jason, moved to the valley and have since welcomed their first child.
Along with Janet, Jesse is another friend of Jax’s that the TV personality knew before he settled down. The two previously lived and modeled together in New York. But now, the former model works as a luxury real estate broker alongside his wife, Michelle.
As Jesse and Michelle tackle the luxury real estate market and raise their 3-year-old daughter, Michelle begins to mentor former SURver Jasmine as she enters the world of real estate.
Lisa Vanderpump will be the executive producer behind the show and will also be produced by 32 Flavors Entertainment, Haymaker East and Evolution Media.
