Vale facing 12 weeks out

Jack Vale has returned to parent club Blackburn Rovers after sustaining a calf injury while on loan at Motherwell.

The forward, who joined Stuart Kettlewell's side on a short-term deal this summer, is now facing 10-12 weeks on the sidelines.

The 23-year-old has made two appearances for the Fir Park club since his arrival.
