Fenty Beauty’s newest drop is the perfect product for those who love a lip gloss that doesn’t feel sticky.
The brand recently dropped its gloss bomb cream, a line-up of pigmented glosses available in five shades. While the brand’s popular lip luminizer delivers high shine, the cream has a more matte finish. The gloss bomb cream is also available in more nude hues.

While many of people aren’t wearing lip products these days (thanks a lot, face masks), I still wanted to see if this new formula was worth the hype.
Read on for my thoughts:
First, the gloss is creamy and feels slightly thicker than the lip luminizer. However, this isn’t a bad thing. My lips felt incredibly soft and hydrated, thanks to vitamin A in its formula.
Now, the real test would be the color payoff. To my surprise, the color showed so well on my brown skin. The best part? It’s completely buildable. You can wear it with a lip liner for a sheered-down effect or pack it on for full-color saturation.
Other customers love this product, as well. One five-star reviewer wrote, “Another hit for Fenty! Love this product and its shades. Same formula as original, with greater pigment and opacity. Feels and looks beautiful on the lips. Purchased cookie jar, honey waffles, and mauve wives. All gorgeous.”
I purchase “Cookie Jar,” a color that’s described as a chocolate caramel. It’s a beautiful color for melanin-rich skin tones. I really want to try “Honey Waffles” next. If you’re a nudes kind of person, “Fenty Glow” or “Mauve Wive$” should be your must-try shades.
Overall, I love this product and think it’s a great option for people who want just a bit of color without committing to a lipstick. Fenty for the win again!
