Kicker isn’t a position most of us put a lot of thought into when it comes to constructing our fantasy rosters. At least, not until we have to, when our incumbent kicker leaves us a few points short in a close loss or needs to be replaced during a bye.

That’s why it’s important to know which kickers are the best options each week (and likely available). FTW has the answers right here. But first…

Week 12 top performers

  • Wil Lutz, Denver Broncos (17 points)

  • Daniel Carlson, Las Vegas Raiders (13 points)

  • Eddy Pineiro, Carolina Panthers (13 points)

  • Jake Elliott, Philadelphia Eagles (13 points)

Now, here's who you should target this week:

5. Anders Carlson, New York Jets (vs. Seattle Seahawks)

Carlson is perfect in limited action this season, including 2-for-2 on field goals and 3-for-3 on extra points in his Jets debut last week. He figures to be just as active Sunday against Seattle.

4. Tyler Bass, Buffalo Bills (vs. San Francisco 49ers)

Especially with Brock Purdy's status in the air and San Francisco's offense scuffling, Buffalo should see more than enough possessions to allow Bass to eat.

3. Parker Romo, Minnesota Vikings (vs. Arizona Cardinals)

Romo hasn't missed a kick in his first three games, posting double-digit fantasy points in two of those contests. He'll have a chance to keep up the momentum at home against the Cards.

2. Chase McLaughlin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (at Carolina Panthers)

My top pick a week ago, McLaughlin didn't as big a game as expected because the Giants made it too easy for the Bucs to finish drives. Carolina is at least still fighting and gives up the second-most points to kickers this season.

1. Blake Grupe, New Orleans Saints (vs. Los Angeles Rams)

With just one miss all season, Grupe is having a phenomenal season, and he has a great kicking matchup Sunday against the Rams at the Superdome.
