Brentford striker Ivan Toney is set to make his first England start against Belgium at Wembley on Tuesday.

The 28-year-old was an unused substitute in the 1-0 defeat by Brazil on Saturday.

England captain Harry Kane's injury has meant there is an opportunity for other forwards to try to impress manager Gareth Southgate as they look to secure a spot in the Euro 2024 squad.

Playing against Belgium would mark a year to the day since Toney's only cap for the Three Lions so far.

Since his return from a eight-month ban for breaching betting rules, Toney has played 10 times in the Premier League and scored four goals.
