Tom Brady Sr. 'started salivating' when he saw Bucs will play Patriots in Week 4
The person most excited for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to take on the New England Patriots in Week 4 isn't someone who will play in the game. Tom Brady Sr. said he "started salivating" when he noticed his son would get to play against his former team this season.
Brady Sr. actually called into a radio show to share his thoughts on the contest.
He told the "Zolak & Bertrand" show on Boston's 98.5 The Sports Hub that:
"I saw the [NFL's 2021] schedule come out last night and I started salivating when I saw that we play the Patriots in the fourth game of the season. And that we're coming up here [New England] to make our record 4-0 after the fourth game. ...
"We expect to beat the Patriots rather handily, frankly."

Brady Sr. makes it clear he feels confident about the Bucs' chances this season, predicting the Bucs will be 3-0 heading into that game. The Buccaneers will play the Dallas Cowboys, Atlanta Falcons and Los Angeles Rams the first three weeks of the season.
Tom Brady can get revenge against Bill Belichick
Brady Sr. doesn't explicitly say it, but most fans will tune into that matchup to see Tom Brady go up against Bill Belichick for the first time. Brady and Belichick had a few disagreements toward the end of Brady's tenure with the Patriots. That didn't stop the team from winning multiple Super Bowls during the last couple years Brady was with the team.
The situation became serious enough that Brady left New England for Tampa Bay. In his first season away from Belichick, Brady proved he didn't need the coach to succeed. Despite a knee injury, Brady led the Buccaneers to a Super Bowl title. The Patriots went 7-9 and missed the playoffs.
The Week 4 matchup between the teams won't be a definitive statement on who is the better football mind — both Belichick and Brady deserve a ton of respect. But the hype surrounding the game will play up that aspect, to the point where we're guessing Brady Sr. won't be the only person "salivating" over the contest.
